Storytelling with simple images

I happened to see two ads today that both made use of line drawings to tell their story … one for shampoo (scroll to “Stop the Suffering”)  and one for candy (scroll to “Colour Your Imagination” ).   A nice reminder that advertising can still keep it simple — yet be effective.
Its a treat to check out the Ad Forum’s Top 5 each week —  a great way to energize my thinking.   Check out the Nike Ad — “The Good Life” for a smile, even if you’re not a golfer!
