Think Fast!

Here’s an intersting article from Scientific American. Researchers at Harvard and Princeton suggest that rapid and varied thinking can trigger the brain’s reward system and improve your mood. Varied thinking seems to be the key, as they also discovered that rapid, repetitive thinking can spur anxiety. The next time I am in the doldrums, I will try doing something totally new for half an hour and see if I feel better.
